Marc Ingram Wins Scotland's Apprentice of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates Marc Ingram, from Blair Drummond Smiddy, on being announced as Scotland's Apprentice of the Year at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2024; understands that Marc, aged 18, left school with few qualifications because of his dyslexia, but that he has worked with a team of butchers at Blair Drummond Smiddy to gain the skills and competence to complete a Modern Apprenticeship in Skills for Craft Businesses (Butchery); praises Marc for also winning the Modern Apprentice of the Year SCQF Level 5 at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards 2024, and for being supported by Craft Skills Scotland to realise his potential; notes that the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards are delivered by Skills Development Scotland and celebrate the incredible work of Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprentices, and recognises the dedicated employers, learning providers and individuals that champion apprenticeships.
