That the Parliament acknowledges the significant contribution of Scotland's wedding industry to the economy, particularly in rural areas; further acknowledges what it sees as the importance of industry awards, such as the Scottish Wedding Awards, in promoting best practice and showcasing leaders in the field; notes that the 2024 awards are scheduled for 6 March at the Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow; extends its congratulations to all finalists, including Banffshire and Buchan Coast hotel, the Banff Springs; believes that the hotel has been deservedly nominated in the Venue of the Year and Coordinator of the Year categories, and that this recognition reflects the Banff Springs' decades of excellence in the wedding and hospitality industry, and wishes it every future success.
