That the Parliament congratulates Highland Tourism CIC and Highland Renewables on holding their first joint roadshow, which took place in Inverness in early 2024; understands that further events will be held across the region, including in the Cairngorms, the northern Highlands, Skye and Lochaber, in order to listen to local people's concerns and aspirations for the Highlands; welcomes what it considers to be the visionary and innovative cross-sector support from the tourism and renewables sectors, as well as the ambitious plans for a Highland-based international hotel school, and supports the group's key aim to make the Highlands one of the world’s most sustainable destinations, for all those who live, work, study and visit there.
