Venturithm Receives a Scottish EDGE Award of £10,000

That the Parliament congratulates Dr Bernd Wurth on receiving a Scottish EDGE Award of £10,000 in the Wild Card category to develop their business, Venturithm; understands that Venturithm is a web-based platform that supports entrepreneurs by transforming market research into financial projections, enabling a new level of business model experimentation and allowing entrepreneurs to fully understand their venture and its value in a variety of scenarios; notes that Scottish EDGE is a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative, high growth potential entrepreneurial talent; further notes that Scottish EDGE is made up of four categories, namely Scottish EDGE, for companies of all sectors and stages, Young EDGE, for companies in which all directors are under the age of 30, Wild Card EDGE, for companies that are currently pre-trading, and Social Enterprise EDGE, for asset-locked social services, and commends Bernd for winning this award.
