That the Parliament celebrates Jill Mackay on her 25 years at North United Communities in Glasgow; understands that Jill has been involved with the organisation since 1999, and has watched it grow from a small youth project into a large youth and family organisation that serves North Glasgow communities such as Ruchill and Milton; recognises that, as Chief Executive, and alongside other colleagues, she provides educational and diversionary group work programmes for young people, family support, sports and outdoor activities, arts music and drama, employment and training advice and conducts regular street work and outreach delivery, and thanks Ms Mackay for all her hard work and dedication, which it considers has had a life-changing effect on people’s lives and the wider community.
