That the Parliament congratulates Morton in the Community chief executive, Brian McLaughlin, on becoming the newest board member of the European Football Development Network (EFDN), which is a body consisting of professional clubs, leagues and football associations that are committed to supporting their communities; understands that the group counts world famous clubs such as Barcelona, Chelsea, Feyenoord, Juventus and Inter Milan among its members and has funded a range of community initiatives in Inverclyde over the last decade, including walking football sessions, a primary school education programme and several schemes centred on literacy, numeracy and healthy eating; understands that Brian has worked with the "Ton’s" charity arm for nine years, taking it from a small team of just two members to a dozen-strong organisation, which actively engages with over 1,400 people a week, and wishes him all the best as he embarks on this new role.
