That the Parliament notes that the Pennypit Community Development Trust, in Prestonpans, celebrates its 30th anniversary in October 2023; notes that the Pennypit was established with the aim of improving health and wellbeing for those most in need in the local area, and striving to be inclusive and empower the community through the delivery of its services; believes that the Pennypit has made a truly outstanding contribution over the last 30 years, with its impact stretching across a significant range of different issues and projects, including supporting older people, providing opportunities to participate in sport, enhancing nutrition through its Fundamental Food work, supporting families through its summer lunch club and festive provision, and various other important initiatives and activities; notes that it has also extended its work to communities beyond Prestonpans, including Port Seton, Cockenzie, Longniddry, Musselburgh and the Tranent area, and thanks all the staff, volunteers and trustees at the Pennypit for their tireless dedication to the communities and people that they support.
