  • Submitted by: Neil Bibby, West Scotland, Scottish Labour.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 29 September 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-10674

That the Parliament congratulates over 80 individuals who were celebrated at the third annual Tannahill Centre volunteer night, in Ferguslie Park, for their contribution to community activities and projects; notes that the Tannahill Centre has hundreds of volunteers who bring various projects to life throughout the year and that the event provides the opportunity to honour and thank them for everything that they have done; understands that Bobbie McCabe, the volunteer coordinator at the Tananhill Centre said that "volunteering is in the DNA of people in Ferguslie Park, it is very much part of the culture from the smallest child upwards, everyone asks how they can help and we’re very grateful for that", and commends all the volunteers at the Tannahill Centre for the vital work that they do for the community.
