Commending Jimmy Buchan and the Seafest Festival in Peterhead

That the Parliament commends the outstanding work of Jimmy Buchan, the founder and organiser of the Seafest Festival in Peterhead; recognises what it sees as the festival's potential to evolve into an international celebration of Scotland's sustainable seafood sector and coastal communities in the years to come; expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the community of Peterhead and all those who dedicated their time and effort to make this event, it believes, a resounding success; commends their dedication in promoting what it sees as Scotland's unparalleled quality of sustainable seafood and the rich coastal seafaring traditions, both locally and on a global scale, and extends its best wishes for ongoing success to the organisers of the Seafest Festival as they continue their valuable work.
