That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the outstanding commitment of the volunteers at Food for Thought, Motherwell; understands that the charity, which is based at the Ebenezer Church in Motherwell, distributes fresh food every Monday to families and individuals in need who live in and around Motherwell; further understands that the charity provides companionship, whilst signposting to other organisations to help ensure that they are receiving all the financial and emotional support available; believes that many larders and foodbanks across Scotland have seen a rise in demand over the last few months, with many, it understands, struggling to maintain stocks during the current cost of living crisis; thanks all the organisations involved that are providing support to the residents of Motherwell and surrounding area, and wishes them all the best for the future.
