That the Parliament congratulates Glen Travel, in Blantyre, on celebrating its 50th anniversary; notes that Glen Travel is a family-run, award-winning, fully independent travel company; understands that the business was established in 1973 by David Glen and Margaret Donnelly, and is now run by David’s sons, Alan, David, and Douglas; believes that the travel industry has faced unprecedented pressures over recent years, with the COVID-19 pandemic and the cost of living crisis, yet, despite this, Glen Travel is continuing to succeed; pays tribute to the staff at Glen Travel, both current and past, for their efforts in ensuring the business’s long-term success, and wishes all involved the very best in the years to come.
