That the Parliament congratulates Ferguslie Cricket Club on ending its season on a high note with McCulloch Cup Victory; understands that, after failing to defend its Western District league title, the Paisley club was determined to make the most of its chance to win some silverware in the final against Prestwick on 10 September 2023; notes that, by the seventh over, it had reached 51 for three, this run rate was maintained and, by the end of its 20 allotted overs, the Paisley side had reached 141 for eight; recognises that by the end of its 20 allotted overs, Prestwick stood at 80 for seven and that this produced delight on and off the pitch for the Ferguslie side as it clinched the McCulloch Cup; congratulates the team, and wishes it the best of luck in future sporting endeavours.
