That the Parliament commends the North British Distillery on its fundraising efforts and supporting local charities; notes that, the distillery, which is based in Gorgie, has released a 60-year-old bottle of single grain whisky, with sales proceeds, it understands, going towards its partnered charities; notes that its partnered charities are Heart of Midlothian FC’s Big Hearts charity, Scottish Autism and Four Square; understands that North British Distillery aims to raise £60,000 for each of these charities through bottle sales, and commends the distillery for its continued work in the local community.
