That the Parliament congratulates the volunteers who maintain the Cove Woodland Walk in Aberdeen on being presented with the Community International Green Flag Award; understands that Cove Woodland Trust was one of only 87 organisations responsible for maintaining parks and green spaces across Scotland to receive the accreditation in 2023; further understands that the Cove Woodland Walk was the only site to receive a community award for the city of Aberdeen; notes that the International Green Award acts as a benchmark for clean, safe, and well-maintained parks and green spaces, and pays tribute to what it sees as the incredible work that the volunteers carry out with the involvement of the local community in Cove.
