Recognising the Efforts of Morven Mackenzie and Celebrate Aberdeen

That the Parliament recognises and congratulates the organiser of Celebrate Aberdeen, Morven Mackenzie, for her efforts in organising the Union Street foot parade and Third Sector Awards event; notes that Celebrate Aberdeen started in 2011, and after being approached by a number of voluntary organisations, Morven founded the Celebrate Aberdeen Awards in 2018; further notes that more than 140 charities and over 5,000 of their representatives walk down Union Street in Aberdeen together to celebrate the wide range of charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups across the city and shire, and wishes Morven and all the Celebrate Aberdeen volunteers and participants the best for the future.
