ASH Scotland 50th Anniversary

That the Parliament congratulates ASH Scotland on its 50th anniversary; understands that the charity, which is based in Edinburgh, aims to take action on smoking and health; further understands that the charity aims to deliver a generation free from tobacco in 2034; notes that the charity’s focus is on creating a healthier Scotland, one without the harm and inequality caused by tobacco and related products; commends the charity on the hard work completed over the last 50 years to improve the health of the people of Scotland and the planet; welcomes the charity's recent work in trying to prevent smoking, and wishes all at ASH Scotland a happy 50-year anniversary and all the best for their important work in the future.
