That the Parliament congratulates Cambuslang Rugby Club on its award of a £3,000 grant from Royal Bank RugbyForce, and for being named a Community Club of the Year; understands that Royal Bank RugbyForce, which is now in its 15th year of delivery, aims to support grassroots rugby clubs up and down the country to achieve their goals and build greener futures; highlights that Cambuslang Rugby Club was also recognised as being a Community Club of the Year several years ago and that it is one of 10 grant winners out of around 100 applicants in the 2023 funding round; notes that Cambuslang Rugby Club will receive its prize money on Royal Bank RugbyForce Day with events taking place at clubs across the country on 12 August 2023; understands that the funding will be used by the club to support its local community with various climate-focused tasks, such as litter collection in communal parks, where it is also going to host training sessions, and the installation of new recycling bins to promote sustainable behaviours for all members, and wishes all involved with Cambuslang Rugby Club the very best over the coming season.
