Rediscovering the Antonine Wall Project Shortlisted at the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2023

That the Parliament congratulates the Rediscovering the Antonine Wall Project on being shortlisted for the Best Project category at the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence 2023; understands that the project is a four-year initiative, running until 2023, which aims to raise awareness of the Antonine Wall, primarily amongst local communities but also with visitors; further understands that the project has created new educational attractions and resources in both West Dunbartonshire and East Dunbartonshire to highlight the fascinating Roman heritage that lies within both of these areas; notes that the awards aim to showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects across Scotland, acknowledging what it sees as the positive contribution that planning professionals make in communities; further notes that all RTPI Scotland Awards winning entries will be put forward for the National Awards, giving them the opportunity to gain further recognition, and wishes them the best in this exciting competition.
