Congratulating Stephens Bakery on 150th Birthday

  • Submitted by: Roz McCall, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 19 May 2023
  • Motion reference: S6M-09047

That the Parliament congratulates Stephens Bakery on its 150th birthday; understands that Stephens Bakery is still owned by the Terris family, which has grown it into a multimillion pound business; acknowledges that it has sites across the Mid-Scotland and Fife region and beyond, including Scotland’s first ever drive-through bakery; notes that it employs over 240 people; celebrates what it sees as the huge contribution that Stephens Bakery has made to the local economy in Dunfermline, and wishes the company and its staff all the best for the future.
