Edinburgh Welcomes the 2023 UCI Cycling Championships

That the Parliament welcomes the news that the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships is coming to Scotland from 3 to 13 August 2023; understands that Edinburgh will play host to the start of the Men’s Elite Road Race; congratulates the City of Edinburgh on hosting what it sees as the single biggest cycling event in history; acknowledges that Scotland is the first country in the world to host such an occasion, and wishes the City of Edinburgh Council all the best in hosting the event.
