That the Parliament congratulates the organisers of the successful 2023 Shetland Folk Festival, which took place between 27 and 30 April 2023 and was enjoyed by 8,500 people; understands that this was the 41st Shetland Folk Festival to take place; notes that this is the UK’s most northerly folk festival; commends the festival organisers for their commitment to youth programming and community projects, including the Peerie Spang afternoon family concert and concerts in rural village halls, and wishes the organisers well for another successful event from 2 to 5 May 2024.
