NHS Forth Valley Staff and Teams Named Finalists in the RCN Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards 2023

That the Parliament congratulates all staff and teams from NHS Forth Valley who have been named finalists in the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Scotland Nurse of the Year Awards 2023; recognises that the team from Unit 5 at Falkirk Community Hospital is in the running for the Nursing Team of the Year award, with Janet Wilson and Alison O’Neil nominated for the Nursing Support Worker of the Year award; further recognises that Hazel Sommerville and Jennie Young have been named as finalists for the Inspiring Excellence - Nursing Innovation and Research award; congratulates Laura McCann on her nomination for the Learning Disability Nursing award, and Linda McAuslan on her nomination for the Leadership award; again congratulates all those professionals at NHS Forth Valley who are nominated, in recognition of the dedication and hard work with which they serve Scotland's local communities, and wishes them all the best for the results, which will be announced on 21 June.
