Highland Gathering Directors 30 Years of Service

That the Parliament recognises six directors of Crieff Highland Gathering for 30 years of service for the annual event; understands that Steve Ryder, Colin Grassick, Ewan Maclean, John WcWilliam, Jimmy Comrie and Kenny McGregor were all awarded with medals by the Crieff Highland Gathering committee chair, Norman O’Neill, for their outstanding contribution in terms of the organisation of Games Day and ensuring that the event runs smoothly; notes that Crieff Highland Gathering is held in the centre of Crieff at the iconic Market Park, with a full programme of traditional Highland Games competitions on offer, including running, youth running, cycling, highland dancing, heavyweights, light field and tug of war, as well as showcasing several piping performances throughout the day, a salute to the Chieftain, and the customary Massed Pipe Bands finale; congratulates the six directors for their contribution to a highlight of the local calendar, and wishes them all every success for the 2023 event and in the future.
