That the Parliament welcomes what it sees as the kindness of Aldi, which, it understands, has donated over 160,000 meals to residents across North Lanarkshire who are currently struggling with the cost of living crisis; understands that all Aldi stores across North Lanarkshire have linked up with local foodbanks, charities and community groups to help reduce food waste and provide local groups with surplus food in partnership with the community giving platform, Neighbourly; further understands that a rise in the number of people seeking support over the past few months has resulted in many foodbanks and community groups struggling to keep up with demand, and thanks all the volunteers and organisations for their dedication and commitment to supporting their local community
