As an amendment to motion S6M-08293 in the name of John Mason (Unborn Babies), leave out from "notes" to end and insert "warmly welcomes the launch of a Baby Loss Memorial Book to mark a pregnancy or baby loss prior to 24 weeks; understands that both pregnancy and miscarriage can be extremely difficult and emotional experiences; notes that it will be a matter of choice for anyone to make use of this service or not; considers that it has no role in dictating how anyone should feel about a pregnancy or the loss of one, and hopes that the book will provide much-needed comfort to those grieving a loss."
