Charity Ball Raises £40,000 for the Highland Hospice

That the Parliament congratulates Emma Nicol and the charity fundraising group, the Blister Sisters, for raising the sum of £40,000 for the Highland Hospice at a charity fundraising ball at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness; notes that, in May 2023, the group, which consists of 18 women, many of whom have had, or lost loved ones to, cancer or similar illnesses, plans to participate in a five-day hike over the Istria Peninsula of Northern Croatia; acknowledges that funds were raised at the event through an auction and a raffle with a range of prizes on offer, and wishes Emma and the Blister Sisters the best of luck on their expedition to Croatia in May.
