Fife's First Biodiversity Village

That the Parliament congratulates the Strathmiglo Conservation Community on the launch of Fife’s first Biodiversity Village; commends the collaborative approach of the group in working with local farmers and landowners to enhance natural habitats in the surrounding area; recognises the support that has been provided by Fife Council, Fife Coast and Countryside Trust, Climate Action Fife, Volunteering Matters Scotland, and Inspiring Scotland's Rural and Island Communities Ideas into Action fund, in supporting the development of the project; acknowledges Strathmiglo Conservation Community's wider aim to connect with the surrounding settlements and to inspire a network of Biodiversity Villages and towns across Fife, and wishes every success to all those involved in the launch event and their ongoing work to improve biodiversity in the area.
