That the Parliament congratulates 1st Belhelvie Girl Guides on being awarded £2,260 through the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund; notes that the funds will be used to purchase environmentally-friendly equipment, which, it understands, will allow the group to meet outdoors, and to provide service to the community when needed; understands that the intended shelters are recycled and can be used during camp for outdoor meetings, or when indoor meeting spaces are unavailable, such as during a pandemic like COVID-19; notes that a planned power bank, powered by solar panels, will provide lighting and can also be used at community events to provide support in the event of blackouts or floods; congratulates the 1st Belhelvie Guides on their success and their community spirit, and wishes them well.
