That the Parliament applauds the community-focused actions of the Spotty Bag Shop, Banff, which, it understands, brought joy to many in the Banff area during Christmas 2022 with the return of the Spotty Bag Shop Reindeer Parade; believes that the parade gave children the opportunity to meet Santa, reindeer and local emergency services as they paraded through Banff, led by the Banff Castle Pipe Band; recognises the work of the Spotty Bag Shop team in supporting the local Giving Tree Christmas Toy Appeal for 10 years, with what it sees as the honourable aim that no child should wake up on Christmas Day with no parcels to open, and further recognises what it considers the positive impact the Spotty Bag Shop has across the Banffshire and Buchan Coast area all year, as well as at Christmas.
