That the Parliament congratulates Parent Action for Safe Play (PASP) on being awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this grant of £10,000 will fund staffing for its active play outdoor programme; further understand that this programme seeks to engage children and young people while providing opportunities for work, leisure and socialising to the Coatbridge community; notes that the group have been active since 1996, and has since won a number of awards for its community contributions; believes that, through its focus on safe play, PASP has enriched the community, through encouraging confidence in parents and children to play outdoors, schools programmes and the development of local play areas and a thriving community garden; thanks the National Lottery Community Fund for enabling this important work to continue, and the players who make such awards possible, and wishes the group well into the future.
