Congratulating Garnetbank Primary School on Imaginative and Successful Approach to Fundraising

That the Parliament congratulates Garnetbank Primary School on raising £33,737.19 for school funds; understands that Garnetbank Parent Council achieved this fundraising by holding a virtual silent auction, which featured prizes including over 100 unparalleled and priceless experiences, and rare and unusual items donated by Scotland’s A-List superstars, including a trip down the flumes at the Time Capsule Waterpark in Coatbridge with Frankie Boyle, and the iconic jacket worn by DI Jimmy Perez in the TV series Shetland; further understands that this amazing sum of money was raised in just 48 hours and will be used to fund essential supplies and creative materials, and commends the parent council on its successful fundraising for Garnetbank Primary School.
