University of St Andrews Achieves First Place in The Guardian University Guide

That the Parliament congratulates the University of St Andrews on ranking first in The Guardian University Guide for the first time; notes that it has been named Scottish University of the Year in The Times Good University Guide 2023; welcomes that it continues to rank highly in The Times University League Table, achieving a second-place ranking this year; notes that overall the university displays what it sees as remarkable and consistently high rates of student satisfaction; acknowledges that the university performs especially well in teaching quality, entry standards, student success, and graduate prospects; commends the hard work of staff and students in making this possible, and wishes the university the best of luck in next year's rankings.
