Gartly Family Raises More Than £45,000 for Diabetes UK

That the Parliament congratulates Wendy Walker, Stewart Walker, and Andy Ingram of Gartly on raising more than £45,000 for Diabetes UK; understands that this fundraising was inspired by Mr Ingram’s personal history with diabetes; acknowledges that the fundraising took place during an auction on Mr Ingram’s 60th birthday with support from 230 attendees and donations from local people and businesses; notes that this is one of the biggest donations ever received by Diabetes UK; understands that Diabetes UK will use the money for research and supporting people living with the condition, and wishes both the family and the charity the best for the future.
