75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates the Consulate General of India in Edinburgh on their commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence at the Usher Hall on 3 September 2022; notes that the commemoration involved the Scottish Indian diaspora and a selection of performances from local artists and musicians; congratulates all involved in the celebration on what it sees as a successful event, and celebrates the contribution made to Scottish life by the Indian diaspora.
