That the Parliament commends Zander Murray of Gala Fairadean Rovers for coming out as the first openly gay football player in men's senior Scottish football; recognises what it sees as the courage Zander has displayed as a positive role model for the future of men's football in Scotland and globally, and applauds this as another step on the road to what it considers real equality, where all people who call Scotland home can openly love without prejudice, discrimination and fear.
