That the Parliament congratulates four Angus projects awarded a total of £624,000 funding through the Scottish Government’s Place-Based Investment Programme; understands that £106,000 will support the provision of Arbroath’s first ever 3G AstroTurf facility, with 4,800 users projected in the first year and opportunities for local volunteering and employment, while £281,000 will see the town’s former courthouse become a multi-purpose community centre; notes that Brechin will also benefit from £66,500 going to the Jars project to create a community health and wellbeing hub, and £170,500 to support the reinstatement of the original canopy at the Caledonian Railway; commends the vision of each project, and acknowledges what it sees as the clear benefit for each of the towns.
