That the Parliament recognises Co-op Fortnight, an annual celebration of the varied and diverse cooperatives around the UK; highlights what it sees as the importance of the values of this traditional, member-owned business model and the importance of these to local economies throughout Scotland, and celebrates, in particular, the work of Aberdeen Northern Marts Group, a community-owned farming, food and finance co-op, which this year celebrates its 150th anniversary, marking 150 years of delivering for its wide membership and the entire north east rural economy.
