PureGym to Open in Alloa

  • Submitted by: Alexander Stewart, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 30 June 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-05201

That the Parliament welcomes the news that PureGym is set to open on Candleriggs in Alloa; understands that the 24/7 gym will be one of the company's "local format” gyms, designed to fit into smaller spaces but still providing all the equipment needed for a workout; further understands that certified personal trainers will also be available to help clients, and that the company believes that the opening will be set to provide around 10 jobs, and commends PureGym for what it sees as its focus on improving the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the local community, as well as providing additional employment for the area.
