  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 28 June 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-05113

That the Parliament congratulates Clydebank FC’s 2014s and 2013s on their first ever football festival, which took place at Holm Park in Clydebank; understands that 35 teams took place from across Scotland with players ranging from seven to 10 years old; acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the teams, coaches, parents, and the students for making the festival a great success; notes that the club anticipates this becoming an annual event, and considers that participation in sports from a young age is hugely beneficial for the mental and physical health of young people.
