Banchory Academy Achieves Garden School Status

That the Parliament congratulates Banchory Academy Horticulture Group on its work in making Banchory Academy the first Scottish school to achieve Level 3 Garden School Status; understands that, since 2020, pupils from the horticulture group have transformed the garden, adding in a vegetable patch and creating a wildlife area with a pond, bug house, bird feeder and a stunning rockery; further understands that the vegetables grown in the garden are used by pupils in their cookery classes; understands that the group has entered the Pocket Garden Competition; congratulates the students on the achievement, taking pride in their school, and wishes them luck in the Pocket Garden Competition.
