That the Parliament warmly congratulates the Fife businesses honoured at the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards 2022 final held at The Corinthian Club, Glasgow; understands that produce from across the Fife region was shortlisted and won awards, including a gold award in the large food producer category for the Buffalo Farm for its Scottish Buffalo Mozzarella, along with a silver award for its pure buffalo milk ice cream; notes that Dunfermline-based Kerry’s Homemade Tablet was awarded silver in the small producer category for its Autumn Spice flavour product and was also a finalist in the small producer category for its cardamom and Madagascan vanilla flavour Scottish Tablet; understands that Dunfermline-based Wee Tea Company was given a silver award for its individual wrapped coffee bags, and bronze awards for its Breakfast Blend, Iron Brew loose leaf tea caddy, and Mighty Chai loose leaf tea in the non-alcohol beverage category; notes that Cupar-based Woodmill Game was also recognised in the awards and received bronze awards for its Venison and Red Wine Pies and also its Pheasant and Ginger Sausage; recognises that the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards celebrate the vast array of food and drink goods produced in Scotland, and also the hard work and dedication that producers undertake to ensure high quality standards and applauds their valuable contributions to support local and national economies, and extends its very best wishes to winners and those shortlisted for continued success in the future.
