Remembering Bruce Kent

That the Parliament recognises the life and work of Bruce Kent, who sadly passed away on 8 June 2022 at the age of 92; sends its condolences to his family, friends and colleagues; recalls that he was a leading figure in the Catholic peace movement and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and a Patron of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign until his death; commends his courage, humour, dignity and wisdom; recognises what it sees as his inspiring influence on peace, anti-nuclear and social justice campaigners worldwide, including members of this Parliament, and understands that his beneficial legacy has been recognised and celebrated by a wide range of organisations and individuals across Scotland and beyond.
