  • Submitted by: Evelyn Tweed, Stirling, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 17 June 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04894

That the Parliament congratulates Fallin Nursery on being named as one of three finalists in the Making a Difference (Early Learning and Child Care) Award at the Scottish Education Awards 2022; understands that this Award is for an Early Learning and Childcare centre, or other establishment such as a special or all-through school, that can demonstrate its effectiveness in transforming the life chances of the children and young people which it serves, and understands that Fallin Nursery was nominated for its creative approaches to supporting the health and wellbeing of children, families and the local community during the pandemic, including capturing the experiences of children and families in a COVID-19 "Memory Book", which showed how the community in Fallin pulled together during a challenging time.
