Kilmarnock is Home to Two 2022 Scottish Hospitality Awards Finalists

That the Parliament acknowledges the news that Kilmarnock is home to two of the 10 finalists for Best Theatre Scotland category in the 2022 Scottish Hospitality Awards; understands that the awards thank and honour those who have contributed to making Scotland a friendly and welcoming place, enhancing the country’s reputation nationally and internationally; congratulates Centrestage Music Theatre and The Palace Theatre on their nominations and for their significant contributions to Kilmarnock, the surrounding communities and Scotland; recognises what it sees as the economic and cultural benefits of maintaining a thriving arts sector across the country, particularly outside major cities, and wishes both finalists well at the awards event and beyond.
