Shetland Teen wheelchair User Wheeling Hadrian’s Wall for Charity

That the Parliament congratulates 17-year-old Brynn Hauxwell from Shetland on his plan to wheel the 84-mile Hadrian’s Wall trail; understands that Brynn began the coast-to-coast route in Bowness-on-Solway on 27 May 2022 and hopes to complete the trail in 10 days, with assistance from a support team including his mother, Kim; further understands that Brynn is again raising funds for Ability Shetland, an organisation providing advice, information, clubs and recreational activities to support disabled people realise their full potential; recognises that the hike is made possible through Brynn’s mountain trike, which was introduced to him by Ability Shetland, demonstrating the importance of specialist wheelchair provision and the work of charities; praises Brynn’s desire to inspire others to get outside and not be put off by obstacles, and wishes him success with the Hadrian’s Wall challenge.
