Changes Receives £139,316 from Medium Grants Scotland

That the Parliament congratulates Changes, which is based in East Lothian, on receiving a £139,316 grant from Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives; understands that the group will use this funding to set up a befriending project to reduce isolation and loneliness and improve mental health and wellbeing; notes that this project will include one-to-one and group befriending opportunities and a monthly conversation café, and that participants will be able to draw on existing services available at Changes; acknowledges the need to address issues such as isolation and loneliness within communities and provide support for those who are experiencing this to know that they do not have to face these challenges alone, and wishes Changes all the best going forward with this project.
