Growing Families in Loanhead Benefit from Young Start Funding

That the Parliament congratulates the charity, Growing Families in Loanhead, on receiving a £62,058 grant from the Young Start funding programme; notes that the funding is delivered by the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that this is a three-year project, with 470 young people in the Midlothian area benefitting over the life of the project; appreciates that this funding will, it understands, allow Growing Families to continue its work and allow free access to the activities and events during the school term that are directed by the young people themselves; praises what it sees as the innovation of Growing Families, and wishes them all the best going forward with this funding.
