276th Anniversary of the Battle of Falkirk Muir

That the Parliament understands that 17 January 2022 was the 276th anniversary of the Battle of Falkirk Muir; recognises that the Battle of Falkirk Muir (1746) Trust is holding an all-day event on 22 January 2022 to commemorate this anniversary; understands that the Battle of Falkirk Muir was the largest battle of the four Jacobite uprisings, involving upwards of 20,000 men, and further recognises what it sees as the importance of celebrating local history.
