That the Parliament commends the fundraising efforts of Angelini’s Pizzeria Café on Greenock Road, Bishopton, which are resulting in donations totalling £4,256 being given to children from low-income families across Renfrewshire, who may not receive a gift this Christmas; understands that co-owners, Brian Cunningham and John Mackay, donated £1,500, and that a further £2,756 was raised by customers; further understands that gifts of £532 will be made to eight Renfrewshire schools, including Erskine’s Barsail Primary and St Anne’s Primary, Renfrew’s Kirklandneuk Primary and Trinity High, and Bishopton Primary in Renfrewshire North and West, who have guaranteed that the money will be shared with pupils who need it most; notes that the business was highly commended in the Scottish Best Family Friendly Restaurant category at the recent Scottish Italian Awards 2021 ceremony, and thanks Angelini’s Pizzeria Café’s management, staff and customers for their service and generosity to families across Renfrewshire.
