Question
To ask the Scottish Government what consideration it has given to the impact of the M8 upgrade on the greenbelt.
Answer
A number of environmental impact assessments were undertaken as part of the development of the M8 M73 M74 motorway improvements project. The findings of these assessments are described in environmental statements which were published as part of the statutory processes undertaken in developing the project.
